Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do you charge?

The fee for a standard 50-minute therapy session is $150. There is no extra charge for couple or family sessions.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I don't accept insurance for payment, but I am happy to provide you with a "superbill" for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

  • Do you accept Medicare?

No. I am an opted-out Medicare provider, meaning Medicare will not reimburse you for the cost of services with me. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, you must enter into a private contract for therapy services with me in order to receive treatment.

  • Do you offer in-person services?

I currently offer only online appointments via a secure videoconferencing platform or telephone (if clincally appropriate).

  • Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, I am happy to offer you a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your therapy needs. Please contact me to schedule an appointment or call me at any time.

  • I don't live in California. Can I still see you?

Because I am licensed only in the state of California, my clients must physically be in California when services are provided.
